Jeśli chodzi o tango w Polsce to można mnie określić mianem dinozaura. Jestem w nim od początku i widziałem wszystkie metamorfozy. Zawsze szukam najpełniejszego wyrażenia muzyki w tańcu. Patrząc z perspektywy widzę, jak przez te wszystkie lata w naturalny sposób moje tango ciążyło do czasów Golden Age i okresów wcześniejszych. Uwielbiam tańczyć w bliskim objęciu i wybieram muzykę, która najpełniej i w naturalny sposób pozwoli budować relacje i przeżywać emocje.

When it comes to tango in Poland, I can be described as a dinosaur. I’ve been there since the beginning and I’ve seen all the transformations. I am always looking for the fullest expression of music in dance. Looking back, I see how over the years my tango has naturally gravitated towards the Golden Age and earlier periods. I love dancing in close embrace and I choose music that will allow me to build relationships and experience emotions in the most complete and natural way.

Born in Bariloche, he found his way into music and dance at a young age, training with great teachers and developing an authentic and passionate style. In his role as Tango DJ, he combines his musical knowledge with a special sensitivity for the dance floor, creating vibrant atmospheres at milongas and events. Currently, from Montenegro, he continues to share his art with the world, leaving his mark on the global tango scene.

Teraz tańczę w Buenos Aires, gdzie oddycham tangiem, i przeniosę tę atmosferę do Brzegu.

TDJ MayoK – Urszula – „I play in the USA, recently in Los Angeles, New York, Pennsylvania. I live here too, In PA. Sometimes I play in Havana, where I co-organize the Tanguearte Festival-happening in October”. She organizes Zen Tango weekends in her hometown. It’s an honor to play again at the 17th Alegria Tango Festival in Brzeg. I’ll play at the Tea House on Sunday. I am preparing beautiful romantic tangos, with a few surprises. I am now dancing in Buenos Aires, where I breathe tango, and I will bring this atmosphere to Brzeg.

Zapraszam serdecznie do Brzegu, gdzie popłyną z głośników rytmy alternatywne i nuevo. Przyznaję, że przygotowanie takiej muzyki bardzo mnie inspiruje, ale i zajmuje sporo czasu. Utwory w tandach muszą być tak dobrane, aby stanowiły odpowiednia kompozycję, a jednocześnie intrygowały, wyzwalały energię i pobudzały zmysły. Muzyka będzie różnorodna, zagram wiele rodzajów muzyki, ale jest jeden warunek, każdy utwór, każda tanda jest przeze mnie przetańczona w stylu nuevo i sam muszę poczuć w tej muzyce ogień, inspirację i namiętność, najlepiej jednocześnie 😉

Cieszę się, że znowu tu zagram.

The pieces in tandas must be selected so that they constitute an appropriate composition, and at the same time intrigue, release energy and stimulate the senses. The music will be diverse, I will play many types of music, but there is one condition, each piece, each tanda is danced by me in the nuevo style and I myself must feel the fire, inspiration and passion in this music, preferably at the same time 😉

Pierwszą milongę zagrałem w sierpniu 2012 roku w Jeleniej Górze na Festiwalu Popłyń z tangiem . Trzynaście lat to sporo , a pasja do muzyki tangowej nie mija . Chęć dzielenia się nią z innymi , to najlepszy powód , aby zagrać na milondze . Gram to co sam chciałbym usłyszeć i zatańczyć . To zawsze osobisty jest wybór i raczej nie należy się spodziewać „fajerwerków ” . Zagram z energią i rytmem, bo jak mówił Juan D’Arienzo : Jak nie ma rytmu to nie ma tanga . Staram się, aby tandy ,choć jednorodne i spójne były też urozmaicone , ale z pewnością bez ambarasujących niespodzianek . Bycie fair wobec tancerzy , to ważna dla mnie zasada . Zapraszając na popołudniową sobotnią milongę , posłużę się pierwszym wersem pięknego tanga ” Una Emocion ” : „Chodź i zobacz co przynoszę w tej jedności nut i słów „.

I played my first milonga in August 2012 in Jelenia Góra at the Popilń z tangiem Festival. Thirteen years is a long time, and my passion for tango music does not fade away. The desire to share it with others is the best reason to play a milonga. I play what I would like to hear and dance myself. It is always a personal choice and you should not expect „fireworks”. I will play with energy and rhythm, because as Juan D’Arienzo said: If there is no rhythm, there is no tango. I try to make the tangos, although uniform and coherent, also varied, but certainly without embarrassing surprises. Being fair to the dancers is an important principle for me. Inviting you to a Saturday afternoon milonga, I will use the first verse of the beautiful tango „Una Emocion”: „Come and see what I bring in this unity of notes and words.”

Dobierając muzykę na milongach największą przyjemność odnajduję w muzyce ze Złotej Ery tanga. Staram się wybierać utwory w sposób na tyle urozmaicony, aby każdy znalazł coś miłego swoim uszom i sercu. Moje ulubione orkiestry to dwaj Osvaldowie: romantyczny Fresedo i emocjonalny Pugliese – nie zabraknie ich na żadnej mojej milondze. Nieustannie wzbogacam swoją kolekcję muzyki o najlepsze dostępne wersje klasycznych tang.

When djing, I find the greatest pleasure in the music from the Golden Era of tango. I strive to choose songs in a sufficiently diverse manner so that everyone can find something delightful for their ears and heart. My favorite orchestras are the two Osvaldos: the romantic Fresedo and the emotional Pugliese – you will not miss either of them in my set. I also keep enriching my music collection with the best available versions of classical tangos.

Od lat jestem zauroczony poezją tanga: narastanie, kulminacje i bezruch tworzące dramaturgię śpiewanych tang próbuję przenieść na pulsowanie całej milongi. Akustyka zmierzchu przenika światła i półcienie dźwięków. Od czasów Guardia Nueva poprzez Época de Oro do XXI wieku. Zmienność nastrojów: mocny rytm i śpiewna nostalgia, lekkość walczyków criollo, wdzięk i elegancja „swingowych kawałków” Osvaldo Fresedo. A potem znowu będziecie mogli przeciągać akcentowanie waszych kroków do bezpretensjonalnego Canaro. Mam nadzieję, że echa tej milongi długo jeszcze będą przynosić Wam rozkołysane szelesty czerwcowych wieczorów.
