Hamburg Tango Quintet skupia 5 światowej sławy ekspertów od tanga w najwyższej klasy zespole. Kwintet został założony przez Anetę Pajek z Polski i Caio Rodrigueza z Buenos Aires/Argentyny z wizją założenia w Europie orkiestry tanga, która miałaby doskonałość i blask legendarnych orkiestr z lat 30. XX wieku, tzw. Època d’Oro -Złota Era Tanga argentyńskiego . Wraz ze wspaniałymi muzykami Javierem Tucat-Moreno, Hansem-Christianem Jaenicke i Julianem Eingang, Hamburg Tango Quintet szybko wdarł się na tangowy szczyt Olimpijski i zachwyca swojąinterpretacja publiczność w salach koncertowych całej Europy i na międzynarodowych festiwalach tanga.

Wokalista Caio Rodriguez uważany jest za jednego z najbardziej charyzmatycznych interpretatorów tej muzyki na świecie. Jego naturalny „głos prawdziwego tanga” łączy w sobie sentyment i elegancję z dźwięczną energią i witalnością na wzór legendarnych śpiewaków tanga, takich jak Angel Vargas czy Alberto Podesta. Wielokrotnie występował z najważniejszymi międzynarodowymi orkiestrami tanga, m.in. z La Juan D’Arienzo z Buenos Aires, Solo Tango z Moskwy, Quinteto Beltango z Serbii, Cantango Berlin z Niemiec.Caio Rodriguez bierze udział w najważniejszych międzynarodowych  festiwalach tanga, m.in. Tarbes/Francja , Lizbona/Portugal,Londyn,Nottingham(Wielka Brytania),Łódź, Brzeg/Polska,Buenos Aires Argentyna, Ateny/Gracja, Malmo/Szwecja,Bremen/Niemcy itd. Wielokrotnie występował na deskach wielkich sal koncertowych m.in. Filharmonii Berlińskiej , Operze Łódzkiej, w Wilkiej Sali Koncertowej w Atenach i Belgradzie /Athens Concert Hall,Kolarac Great Concert Hall.

W swoich dwóch światach Europie i Ameryce Południowej (Argentyna, Paragwaj, Brazylia) Caio od wielu lat występuje z wirtuozerką bandoneonu Anetą Pajek z Polski.Zdobyła ona reputację ekspertki od tanga argentyńskiego już w rodzimej Polsce, a później w Niemczech oraz w całej Europie i Ameryce Południowej, dokonując nagrań radiowych i produkcji płytowych. Odpowiada także za precyzyjne stylistycznie aranżacje, dzięki którym grane utwory posiadają swoje autentyczne bogactwo brzmienia.

Hansa Christiana Jaenicke od ponad 25 lat jest cenionym na całym świecie skrzypkiem, kompozytorem i aranżerem tanga. Trasy koncertowe,w których uczestniczył, odbywały się po Europie i kilkukrotnie po USA. Jego współpraca z tancerzami Ballet Nacional z Buenos Aires (Argentyna), z muzykami tanga takimi jak Luis di Matteo (Urugwaj), a także liczne nagrania radiowe i telewizyjne, produkcje teatralne, filmowe i CD m.in. dla SONY/BMG, uczyniły go znanym na arenie międzynarodowej.

Podobnie jak Caio, pianista Javier Tucat-Moreno również pochodzi z tangowej metropolii Buenos Aires, gdzie uczył się u legendarnej pianistki tanga Beby Pugliese. Od kilku lat mieszka w Niemczech i gra w różnych formacjach m.in. Tajwańskiej Narodowej Orkiestrze Symfonicznej i Berlińskiej Orkiestrze Symfonicznej. Występuje także klubach jazzowych i tangowych zarówno w Europie jak i w  Buenos Aires. Otrzymał wyróżnienie od Senatu Argentyny i Ambasady Argentyny w Berlinie za swoje zaangażowanie w tango.

Julian Eingang to austriacki kontrabasista. Po ukończeniu studiów w Wiedniu obecnie przebywa w Hamburgu, aby uzyskać tytuł magistra w klasie kontrabasu jazzowego. Muzycznie jego stylistyka oscyluje pomiędzy nowoczesnym jazzem a swobodną improwizacją. Jednocześnie specjalizował się w stylach tanga.Co jest niezwykle ważne dla ogólnego brzmienia kwintetu: udaje mu się w zaskakująco autentyczny sposób łączyć elementy perkusyjne i dźwięczne pasaże smyczkowe.

Carlos Gardel, legendarny śpiewak tango, który swoim wspaniałym tenorowym głosem zainspirował cały świat do tanga argentyńskiego, zginął w tragicznej katastrofie lotniczej u szczytu swojej kariery w 1935 roku. Do dziś jest ikoną tanga. Jego życie jest legendą, jego sposób śpiewania jest wielkim ideałem dla wszystkich następnych pokoleń.

Caio Rodriguez z Buenos Aires, obecnie najsłynniejszy śpiewak tanga w Europie, zaadaptował wspaniałe utwory „Carlito”, takie jak „Mi Buenos Aires Querido”, „Volver”, „Por Una Cabeza” i wiele innych, i ożywia je.

Kiedy na scenie pojawia się „Hamburg Tango Quintet” -dzieje się coś niewyobrażalnego: przy akompaniamencie swojej znakomitej orkiestry mit Carlosa Gardela ożywa wraz z „Homenaje A Carlos Gardel”! Ale nie tylko sam głos, ale także sposób frazowania, poczucie własnego sentymentalizmu Gardela budzi się na nowo na scenie i przenika głęboko do serca każdego, kto potrafi odczuwać.

Hamburg Tango Quintet

One oft the leading Tango orchestras of the present age plays the greatest successes of the golden epoque.

The Hamburg Tango Quintet unites five international renowned Tango experts in one  first class ensemble. The Quintett has been founded from Aneta Pajek from Poland and Caio Rodriguez from Buenos Aires/Argentinien with the vision, to establish in Europe a Tango orchestra, that represents the perfection and charisma of the legendary orchestras of the thierties, the so called golden epoque of the Argentinian Tango. Together with the wonderful musicians Javier Tucat-Moreno, Hans-Christian Jaenicke und Julian Eingang the Tango Quintet has reached the Tango-Olymp in shortest time and is celebrated euphorically in concert halls and Tango festivals all over Europa.

The singer Caio Rodriguez is considered as the most charismatisc interpreter of this music. His natural „original Tango voice“ combines sentiment and elegance with striking energy and vitality in the manner of the legendary Tango singers as Angel Vargas or Alberto Podesta. He performs regularly with the most prominent Tango orchestras of the world,  e.g.. with Solo-Tango (Moscau), La Juan D`Arienzo (Buenos Aires), Quinteto Beltango (Belgrade), Cantango Berlin (Berlin) and on benchmark settingTango festivals, e.g. in Tarbes/France, Lisbon/Portugal, London, Nottingham (Great Britain), Łódź, Brzeg/Poland, Buenos Aires Argentina, Athens/Grace, Malmo/Sweden, Bremen/Germany, etc. He has performed many times in large concert halls, including: Berlin Philharmonic, Łódź Opera, the Wilkia Concert Hall in Athens and Belgrade /Athens Concert Hall, Kolarac Great Concert Hall, the Ignacio A. Pane Municipal Theater in Asuncion/Paraguay and Café Tortoni – a famous café in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In both of his living environments, in Europe and in South America (Argentina, Paraguay Brasil), Caio has given concerts with the virtuoso  Aneta Pajek  from Poland since many years. She also has reached by broadcasting and CD-productions the reputation of an expert for Argentinian Tango,already in her birth country Poland,and later in Germany, all over Europe and in South America. The stilistically precise arrangements, that have given his autentic exuberance of sound to the quintet, have been her merit.

Hans-Christian Jaenicke is an internationally known Tango violinist, composer and arranger since 25 years. His concert tours have brought him to places all over Europe and also to the USA several times. His collaboration with dancers of the National Ballet from Buenos Aires (Argentina), with Tango musicians as Luis di Matteo (Uruguay), and several broadcasting and television shows, theatre-, film- und CD-productions  , e.g.for SONY / BMG, have brought him to international publicity. 

The Pianist Javier Tucat-Moreno  also comes – as Caio – from the Tango metropolis Buenos Aires, where he studied from the legendary Tango pianist Beba Pugliese.  Since many years he lives in Germany and plays in different formations, e.g. the Taiwan National Symphonie Orchestra, the Berliner Symphoniker, the Sinfonie Orchestra Berlin. He also performs in Jazz- und Tango Clubs, in Germany, in Norway and – again and again – in Buenos Aires. For his commitment he earned several tributes from the Argentinian Senate and the Argentinian consulate in Berlin. 

Julian Eingang is an Austrian double-bass player. After his study in Wien, he currently continues to study his master in Jazz Bass in Hamburg. His music is musically to be placed between modern Jazz and free improvisation. At the same time he specialisted for Tango stile, what is very important for the  interacting sound of the quintet. He manages to combine percussion elements and sonorous sections of string players in a surprising authentic way.

Carlos Gardel, the legendary tango singer, who inspired with his wonderful tenor voice,the whole world for Argentinian tango, died in an tragical airplane crash at the height of his career in 1935. Until today he is an icon of the tango. His life is a legend, his way of singing is a big ideal for all following generations. Caio Rodriguez from Buenos Aires, currently the most famous tango singer in Europe, has assumed „Carlito’s“ wonderful success songs as „Mi Buenos Aires Querido“, „Volver“, „Por Una Cabeza“ and many others and relaunches them to new life.

And the unimaginable happens: Accompagnied by his excellent orchestra with „Homage to Carlos Gardel“ the myth Carlos Gardel becomes resurrected! But not only his voice, also his way of phrasing, the sensation of the Gardel-own sentimentality gets awakened on the stage and deeply moves everybody, who is able of feelings, deep into his heart.
